Our Training Band meets at our very own band room every Thursday from 6.30 pm-7.30 pm.  Anyone wishing to learn or develop/improve their playing of a brass instrument is welcome. The Intermediate Band were delighted to be invited to play in a fundraising concert at All Saints Church, Nynehead on Saturday 5th October.

Playing a wide range of styles, the band sounded superb in the ringing acoustics of this beautiful church.  Excellent solos from cornet players Helen and Gareth sang out over the rich harmonies of the middle-voice instruments of Mark, Gabrielle and Kerry, who all played their own features with clarity and confidence.  We are always grateful for the support of players from the main band - on this occasion, Phil on bass and Davina on tenor horn.

Many thanks to all at the church and Nynehead Court for their superb organisation and warm hospitality.  Thank you also to the wonderful young players of High Park Music, who played two thoroughly enjoyable sets of classic hits. 

The Intermediate Band will now be turning their attention to the festive season and we look forward to bringing the Christmas spirit to a street/hall/venue near you in December!
